Today I have a really cute Wedding Wonder of the Week to share with you all. Rachael from Cutsite Cutsie and her fabulous 'scrabble art' which makes a lovely keepsake or a great wedding present!
- Tell me a bit about yourself and your company.
My name is Rachael and my company is Cutsie Cutsie. We produce scrabble art for all occasions, especially as presents and have produced alot of presents for couples and wedding parties!
Scrabble art is art created out of scrabble tiles and then stuck to a background of choice and then set in a beautiful deep set frame.
- Are you married? And if so, will you share some of your details?
Yes! See my wedding featured here:- http://bonfirenightbride.wordpress.com/2011/09/12/a-pink-and-blue-country-wedding-rachael-rob/
- What attracted you to working in the wedding industry?
I loved being a bride and planning everything! From my vintage tea cups to my presents, I loved it. Working with brides for scrabble place names, gift tags for presents and for presents that make the receiver go ‘WOW’ is perfect and I LOVE every minute of it!
- What is your favourite part of working with bride & grooms (to-be)?
The excitement! It takes me right back to when I got married and I am still so excited for all the couples I meet! From talking about the cake to getting lost dreaming about dresses, I love talking (and can do for hours!) I want to help add that special little something to their wedding and make them remember the special touches!
- What is your most favourite wedding theme at the moment?
Vintage shabby chic all the way – vintage tea cups, macaroon favours, vintage sweet tables! All of it – I love people that challenge the normal set up of a wedding, or go for a g&t reception rather than champagne.....i love anything quirky and different!
- Top wedding tip?
It goes soooooo quickly, too quickly on the day, so early night and savour every single moment. Leave your wedding party to do all the panicking and just get a drink and chill out.
- What do you think the next big wedding trends might be?
I think people are going to go further down the vintage route and also take it back to the 60’s! Vintage is so in and as more and more specialist people come out to help get that special day, making in amazing will be easier and easier!
- Where can we find your fabulous company?
You can find me and my fab art at www.cutsiecutsie.com! I am also on facebook:- www.facebook.com/cutsiecutsie and twitter @Cutsie_Cutsie xxxx
- What are your plans for the future?
To carry on and hopefully turn my little business into a huge empire of scrabble and eclectic art loving people!
Thank you to Rachael for sharing her scrabble art with us. What a great idea for a wedding present!
